Category A fit-outs are usually carried out by landlords in order to make the building adequate for commercial renting. Other businesses can then come in and implement the category B fit-out, which we will explain below.
Category B fit-out
On the other hand, a Category B fit-out is a finished office space that has been designed and constructed to the specific requirements of the client. This is the most common type of fit-out as customers can design the layout and map out all the electrical points they require in order to create a more flexible working environment.
Category B fit-out includes installing everything that you would typically need for an office to function. This includes electrical power points, IT infrastructure, AV, lighting and also fit out of other spaces such as kitchens, meeting rooms etc.
