Qualified Electrician C J Timms Electrical Services Limited – Derbyshire
CJ Timms, an ambitious forward thinking electrical company, are looking for a qualified, experienced Electrician to join our established and reputable family run business. The role will consist of serving customers across the East Midlands and nationally.
You will be:
- • Carrying out surveys in commercial, industrial and domestic premises.
- • Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in commercial, industrial and domestic electrical systems including fault-finding, re-wiring and monitoring.
- • Conducting routine maintenance and ensuring installations are to manufacturer standards, including electric heating systems and LED lighting.
- • Assessing materials required for a job and ordering materials.
- • Ensuring good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements.
- • Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.
- • Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions.
- • Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations.
- • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
- • Travelling to sites across the Midlands and the rest of England to service clients and therefore you should be prepared to be flexible and happy to travel.
Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Successful applicants should have proven experience in:
- • Lighting
- • Wiring
- • Data
- • Commercial and Industrial
- • Diagnostics / Fault finding
- • Testing
- • Maintenance
- • Risk assessment
Successful applicants must be:
- • 18th Edition 2382 qualified
- • C&G 2391 or 2394 and 2395 certified testing and inspecting
- • Experience working on domestic, industrial and commercial installations
- • Experience of fault finding on electrical installations
- • Experience of completing electrical certificates on NICEIC software
- • Be flexible in your working hours
- • MUST have the flexibility to able to work away from home
- • Full valid clean driving licence
